Eagle is a small city located 10 miles west of downtown Boise. Because of the growth in Boise, Eagle has become more suburban in the past few years. As of 2012, Eagle’s population was estimated at 21,025. The small city is continually growing which has resulted in new retail and commercial expansions from a variety of businesses.

Eagle is a very desirable place to live because of its location, as it is close to the Boise River, the Boise Foothills and is a very short drive to Boise and Meridian. Because of its placement in the Treasure Valley, residents of Eagle maintain the sense of a small town without sacrificing access to the amenities provided by a bigger city like Boise.

While Eagle may be small, it still has a thriving busines community. In addition to the numerous locally owned businesses in Eagle, the Western Regional Headquarters of ConAgra Foods and the headquarters and manufacturing facility of Camille Beckman, a distributor of cosmetics, are both located in Eagle.
