What to Expect
Selling your home is a very important decision. Make sure you know all of your options.
The decision to sell a home is multi-faceted and knowing all of the options and information always makes for a better result. Maybe you need help deciding whether a refinance or selling your home makes more sense….or maybe you want to explore renting your home out and buying another. I am always happy to meet with you to explore all of your options. I always want my clients to know all of their options and I go out of my way to make sure clients are well informed and comfortable with their decisions.
I am a no pressure agent. I don’t believe in hard selling anyone. I welcome the opportunity to talk to you about your real estate needs. If you feel I am a good fit for you as a realtor then I welcome the opportunity to work for you.
Why you should consider me to sell your home.
I am accessible. I mean REALLY accessible, because in this business you have to be. If someone calls in the evening to look at your home and it is available, I will show it. If someone calls for information about your home, I always try to answer my phone. When emails come in about your home I send replies promptly. I follow up on all leads. I follow up on agent showings. You expect someone to work hard to sell your house and I do just that.
This is not a part-time job for me. I do real estate full time. It may be tempting to use someone who you know who has a license and does real estate on the side, but there is value to using someone who is immersed in real estate on a daily basis. Being focused on the Boise, Meridian, Eagle and Nampa real estate market is critical to properly market your home.
I love my career in real estate and that comes through in my work and the satisfaction of my clients. Click here to see how my clients really feel!
I will schedule a listing consultation and we will walk through your home to discuss the property and how you can prepare your home to be listed for sale. Small touches can mean a huge increase in your profit. I am happy to point out ways to best show off your home and if you are interested in professional staging, I can recommend someone to help in that area. I also provide a list of things you can do to get your house in the best possible showing condition.
I will also give you all of the information you need to understand the market in your area. We will discuss price and timing so that you are able to make the most informed decision possible on selling your home.
When your property is ready, I will have pictures taken of your property. Most people start their search on the internet and I believe that quality pictures are important. I then create flyers, a virtual tour, a YouTube video, and post your listing on my website as well as a huge network of websites, including Google, Zillow, Trulia, Realtor.com, Homes.com, FrontDoor, Oodle, Yahoo Real Estate, Craigslist, Facebook, and other key websites to get maximum exposure for your listing. Your house is also added to Intermountain MLS with pictures and the unbranded virtual tour so that other agents and their clients can view the property online.
I will also provide you with a list of suggestions dealing with preparing your home when potential buyers schedule a showing. (Tip #1: Make sure you leave!)
When I receive offers, I make sure that the buyer is preapproved and that their financing is in order so that there are no surprises and the transaction is as smooth as possible. As your real estate agent, I always keep you in the negotiation loop and fully advocate on your behalf.
Do you still have questions about my home selling process? I am happy to speak to you with no obligation.
