Eagle is a small city located 10 miles west of downtown Boise. Because of the growth in Boise, Eagle has become more suburban in the past few years. As of the 2010 census, Eagle’s population was 19,908. The small city is continually growing which has resulted in new retail and commercial expansions from a variety of businesses.

Eagle is a very desirable place to live because of its location, as it is close to the Boise River, the Boise Foothills and is a very short drive to Boise and Meridian. There are five golf courses in Eagle, including Eagle Hills Golf Course and Banbury Golf Course.
Eagle hosts many family friendlyevents annually such as Eagle Fun Days, the World’s Largest Rocky Mountain Oyster Feed, a Fourth of July celebration, Halloween activities and an old fashioned Country Christmas.
Business Community
While Eagle may be small, it still has a thriving busines community. In addition to the numerous locally owned businesses in Eagle, the Western Regional Headquarters of ConAgra Foods and the headquarters and manufacturing facility of Camille Beckman, a distributor of cosmetics, are both located in Eagle.
